Intraoral scanners are digital devices that project structured light to capture images of teeth (basically a high resolution digital camera). The images are processed and stitched together by scanning software, which then produces a real time 3D surface model for the teeth and jaw structures intraorally. Intraoral scan doesn't have any kind of harmful radiation, so it's completely safe for everyone.
